About the Journal

The Journal of Enhanced Studies in Informatics and Computer Applications (JESICA) is an international, peer-reviewed journal that aims to bring its readers the very best analysis and discussion in the developing scope of Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Application, Health Informatics, and Internet of Things.

Focus and Scope

Topics of scope cover a wide field and we encourage submissions from diverse areas of practice and settings including:

Data Science has a broad scope and covers various aspects of data management and analysis. The scope of data science includes collecting, cleaning, and transforming raw data, statistical analysis and building predictive models using machine learning algorithms, data visualization to communicate findings, and decision-making based on discovered insights. Data science also covers topics such as data exploration, natural language processing, pattern recognition, and image processing. With the evolution of technology, data science is increasingly relevant in various industries making it an essential tool for identifying trends, solving problems, and supporting informational decision making.

Software Engineering discipline has a broad scope in software development. This covers the entire software life cycle, from requirements planning and analysis, system design, code development, testing, configuration management, and maintenance. In addition, software engineering also involves practices such as software project management, documentation, software modeling, and ensuring that the resulting software meets specified quality and security standards.

Computer Application includes a wide variety of software designed to meet various needs and purposes of computer use. This includes business applications such as inventory management tools, accounting systems, and customer management software used to assist in company operations. In the entertainment field, there is gaming software, media players, and video editing tools. Additionally, computer applications also include industry-specific software, such as medical, scientific, and engineering software.

Health Informatics includes the application of information technology and information systems to improve data management, communication, and decision-making in the field of health and medical care. This includes the design, development, and use of health information systems, software, and other technologies to automate administrative processes in hospitals, electronic medical records management, patient monitoring, population health data analysis, and more. Health Informatics also covers topics such as health data security, health information exchange standards, and the application of technologies such as telemedicine to improve patient access to medical care.

Internet of Things is a concept that refers to a network of physical devices that are connected to the internet and have the ability to communicate and share data automatically. IoT devices can include everything from household electronics such as smart refrigerators and connected lights to industrial sensors used in manufacturing, agriculture, and logistics. IoT allows devices to collect data in real-time, interact with each other, and provide valuable information to users.

Published twice a year, in February and July, at the first and middle of the year. Each period will publish 5 quality journals.
