Open Access Statement
The Journal of Enhanced Studies in Informatics and Computer Application (JESICA) is fully committed to the principles of immediate, permanent, and barrier-free open access to scholarly research. Our mission is to advance the dissemination of high-quality research in informatics, computing, and their interdisciplinary applications by making all published content freely available to the global public. We believe that removing access and reuse barriers accelerates scientific innovation, promotes equitable knowledge exchange, and serves the broader interests of the academic community and society. In line with this, JESICA provides free online access to all articles immediately upon publication, without any subscription fees, registration requirements, or paywalls.
To ensure legal clarity and maximize the reach and reuse of published work, all articles in JESICA are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license permits anyone to share, adapt, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal a non-exclusive publishing right. Furthermore, authors are explicitly encouraged to self-archive the final published version of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networks without embargo, ensuring the widest possible dissemination.
JESICA upholds rigorous publishing ethics and a transparent peer-review process to ensure the integrity and quality of its open-access content. The journal is published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of ITSK Soepraoen Health Science Institute, which supports its operation without charging authors Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees—adopting a diamond open access model. Our editorial policies, including those on archiving, plagiarism, and conflicts of interest, are publicly accessible on the journal’s website. By implementing these practices, JESICA strives not only to meet but to exceed the standards of trustworthy open access publishing, fostering a sustainable and ethical platform for scholarly communication in the digital age.
